Primary 6 pupils are currently researching The Victorian Era as their chosen World Around Us topic this term. The children are working in groups and finding out lots of information about Queen Victoria and her reign. Each group will present their findings via a PowerPoint slide show. The pupils are enjoying exploring some toys from the Victorian Era, which were usually made from wood, metal and paper. There were no video games or computers to entertain the Victorian child, sometimes a child’s imagination was his or her best friend.
