Symmetry and 3D shapes

P4 and P5 have been exploring 2D and 3D shapes in different ways. They have learned about the different properties of shapes and discovered what a prism is. The children in P4 created some fantastic 3D models using straws and nets. P5 investigated which 2D shapes had lines of symmetry as well as creating their own symmetrical pictures.
