Summer Reading Challenge
We all know the importance of encouraging children to read for enjoyment, information and to help their learning, so we were delighted to have a visit from Johanne from Tandragee Library to tell us all about the super challenge run through libraries over the summer.
Children sign up at their local library, choose their reading goal and then read any books to collect stickers and other rewards along their way. The programme also includes lots of online activities.
Open to all our children from 4-11, it is a wonderful way to help them have fun over the summer, and as it is run in conjunction with the World Wildlife Fund, they will learn about nature and the environment too.

Let us know at the end of the summer how your children got on - good luck!
