The P2&3 pupils from Poyntzpass P.S. joined us this morning to participate in a lesson to explore another of our media initiative puppets. The pupils were asked to focus on Kim and they were able to discuss similarities they have in common with her and any differences they could observe. The pupils have a great understanding that ethnicity should not be a reason to exclude others from play and becoming friends. After watching an interactive story on The Chinese New Year and the short DVD clip the pupils engaged with each other to design a new kite for Kim. We are looking forward to meeting up again very soon.
