Primary 1,2 & 3 pupils really enjoyed their school trip to Exploris Aquarium in Portaferry. It was very exciting to travel on the ferry as foot passengers and then visit the Aquarium for a guided tour.
The pupils were thrilled to see all types of fish 🐠 , otters🦦 , small penguins 🐧 , sea creatures such as seahorses, stingrays, crabs🦀 , sharks🦈 , anemones, urchins, 🐡 ,lizards and geckos 🦎 and even a young crocodile 🐊! The pupils found out lots of interesting facts to build on their knowledge.
