Roots of Empathy Visit 3
Baby Mick and his mum, Marie Claire, had their third visit today. We could see so many changes in Mick. He has two teeth! He can now hold his head up and he loves looking around him. When we were singing our ‘Hello’ song, he bounced and laughed. We have been learning about caring for a baby and we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of both disposable and cloth nappies. We talked about cost, comfort and convenience. Marie Claire uses disposable nappies with Mick and we calculated that he would go through approximately 6500 nappies before he is into ‘big boy’ pants - that’s a lot of money! Mick loves getting his nappy changed. He loves listening to his mummy talking to him when he’s being changed and he is now trying to chat back to her. Mick can almost roll over! We have one more visit before Christmas where we will be learning more about emotions. We can’t wait!
