Roots of Empathy Lesson 2
Our P.6 pupils have been learning about why babies cry. They have learned that a crying baby is not a bad baby but a baby who needs something. Mick and his mum spent time with us today and we were able to ask Marie Claire about the different things she does to soothe Mick when he is upset. We learned that Mick loves it when his mum sings to him and cuddles him close.
We could see many changes in Mick since his last visit, he has more hair, he can hold his head up and he is able to focus on the children in front of him. Mick was much more relaxed today and even though he is teething he was in great form!
We can’t wait to see him in three week’s time!
