In Primary 6, learning how to use, calculate and convert units of measure is tricky, so to help, we spent a day practising our measuring skills. This also helps us have a mental image to compare with when we estimate or try to make sense of lengths. For example, the school corridor is 27.5m long, a pencil was 157mm long, while a classroom chair is 74cm in height.
