As the final World Around Us topic focused on ‘Pirates and Sea-Life’ the opportunity to arrange the school trip to Exploris was very appropriate. The Primary 2 & 3 pupils began their end of year school trip at Poyntzpass Play Park and met up with the Primary 2 & 3 class from Poyntzpass P. S. The coach travelled to Strangford and the pupils sailed on the ferry as foot passengers to Portaferry. The pupils were greeted by friendly tour guides and had great fun looking and handling the many sea creatures there.The pupils listened attentively to new facts and were very confident in answering any questions asked of them. The pupils also viewed playful seals and otters. A young crocodile and other reptiles were also part of the tour. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and the many photos taken are great memories to look at...
