Irish Myths and Legends

Our current World Around Us topic is Irish Myths and Legends and we are making cross curricular links to our Literacy and Art lessons demonstrating our wonderful creative artistic and writing skills. We enjoyed the story of Finn MacCool and drew our own impressions of giants thinking of appropriate adjectives to describe them. We have sketched swans to link to the story of ‘The Children of Lir’ and also summarised the story in our words.
