P4/5 pupils had a fun packed day of activities in school today. The day started with outdoor games on the playground- unihoc proved popular🏒, whilst some pupils enjoyed time on the climbing frame, using the colourful parachute, or having a game of Noughts & Crosses, connect four, playing on ‘mini-go karts’ and using the gymnastic ribbons.
‘Penalty Shoot Out’ was the next activity. Thank you to Mr Andy Waters and Rory Osbourne for facilitating and giving of their time. The pupils tried their best to score into the nets🥅.
Pupils then had time in the parish Hall where Anto played some team games. An ice-cream treat 🍦was well received before a break for lunch.
The pupils had extended time on two bouncy castles. A basketball session🏀 with a coach from Poyntzpass Pumas gave the opportunity for pupils to practise dribbling, throwing and catching skills.Thank you for coming to our school today.
The day was finished off by watching the movie ‘Turbo’ in the classroom.
it was a most enjoyable day and a welcome break from class work😀.
