P6 pupils from the two schools in the village had a marvellous Shared Education outdoor day thanks to Mark and Levi from the charity ‘Angling First’, which aims to encourage children to try their hand at fishing. Luckily the weather was kind, and a few fish were biting, but perhaps not as many as the stories would have you believe! A new skill for most, and as they now all have their fishing licence for the year, it needn’t be the last.
