The fire fighters from Newry Fire Station paid a visit to the Primary Five classroom today. The fire fighters talked about how to prevent fire in the home and about creating a fire escape plan. Then we went outside to see the fire engine and we even got to try on their helmets, sit in the engine, see a fire hydrant in action and use the hose! We all got a very special 'Safety Team' pack to use at home!
